• Can Customer Debit Advice be sent to the recipient by e-mail

Yes, customer debit advice can be sent via an e-mail as an attachment.


• Can I amend the right of access of a user?

Only the system administrator has the right to such.


• Can I use a network printer to print my cheques?

Yes, a user can print cheques across a network printer.


• Can it work with flowline cheque only or any other one?

Checkpay is not limited to a particular type of cheque, it works with both normal and flowline cheques.


• Can the application work real time with our accounting package?

Yes, Checkpay has been designed in such a way to work with any package, especially when it is so desired by the client.


• Can the software be configured so that the person writing cheques is different from approving officer?

Yes, it is a possibility on the application


• Can the software tell if a cheque has been written before as you try to repeat same?

No. It will assume it’s a new transaction


• Does it print on stubs?

Yes, the application makes it possible to print cheque stubs as well.


• How are the scanned signatures stored?

They are encrypted and stored in the database.


• How do we raise cheques on a new account?

You create the account on the system


• If a cheque has been written, can it be cancelled?

Yes.


• If I have to use a printer different from the default, do I have to reconfigure the templates?

No. Only printer settings needs to be changed.


• Is the application printer specific?

No, the application works perfectly with any windows configurable printer.


• Must I dedicate a printer to the system? Can I connect two or more printers to the system?

Yes, two or more can be used, but its better to dedicate a printer to it.


• What are the audit trails available?

Checkpay comes standard with full audit trail feature, thereby all activities on the application can be monitored.


• What if an account has more than one cheque type?

All cheque types can be created and attached simultaneously.


• What if I don't want to sign on-line?

Online signature is an optional feature on the system.

• What are the security model on the application?

As a world-class application, checkpay comes standard security features which includes: Password, Module restrictions, Audit Trail etc.


• If the honouring bank does not have Checkpay, how does it verify the validity of the cheque?

Through the normal process of verification


• Can reports be written to PDF format?

Not yet


• Can the online help be printed?

Yes, users can print the online help form the system.


• Can the recipient of the flow of transactions to the next level be notified by the system?

Such feature is not yet operational on the system.


• If a customer comes for a cheque, is there a module to tell who collects it?

Not yet available on the system.


• Can the application detect clone cheques?

No.
